Jonathan Mason has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. After a brief stint at Judy Henderson Casting, he made the move over to TalentWorks and then in 2005 he joined Buchwald and moved up through the ranks to become an agent in the Theatrical division. For over 17 years as an agent, Jon found great joy in representing actors at all stages of their careers, from those just gaining traction in the industry to well-established actors looking to introduce themselves to new audiences. He also enjoyed working with the casting community and forming relationships with some of the most well-known and well-respected casting directors in film, television and theater on both coasts.
With decades of industry experience and relationships under his belt, Jon decided that the time was right to deepen and broaden the services he provides to his clients. And so, in 2022, Jon turned another page in his professional book to form JMason Entertainment.
To Jon, providing the highest level of service to clients means not merely helping them select projects, it means getting to know them professionally and personally, understanding their values and goals and working tenaciously to help them build successful, satisfying careers. Jon believes strongly in the value of genuine relationships and works in true collaboration with other members of his clients’ professional teams. Through decades of authenticity, Jon has built strong and trusting relationships with casting directors, producers and other industry professionals, which in turn work to his clients’ benefit everyday.
